so, if you are really fucking interested in the person behind this blog, then read ahead young man.
Firstly, the name would be Aisling McGarry and the age would be 16. Everytime I think about my age, i think about the quote from Oscar Wilde my english teacher said one day. It was something like youth is wasted on the young. It makes me worry that i dont appreciate my youthfulness (physical and mental). And, so i try to imagine myself being old and fat, and just then at that moment is when i want to tell young people to lose their self conscienceness because they will never be as beautiful when they are old as they were in the present day. Well, just thought i be a bit philosophical since its all people do in their blogs.
I could sit here all day and indulge myself in the things i love, but i think i would bore you all. here is me, summarized.
If any of you know me, let me tell you, you probably don't know me. You may think i'm a bitch, too quiet, too loud, too nice. But, i am none of these, when i talk to different people i am just showing them a different face, every piece of small talk is all superficial. the rare times i do talk are only to get along. I am realizing i can only express my true character through written words.
I love poetry. Reading it is a dream and writing it, is rare but when i find the words flowing in ink, it is almost magical. I writ a poem about a friend but i am too nervous to give it to her. I think she feels awkward about people complimenting her, but she is such a good person. the fact that she doesn't see herself that way makes her even better. Right now,i'm sampling some Thomas Hardy and T.S Eliot and cannot wait for the summer so i can read to my hearts content.
I love the 60's. I think it was a better time with better people and better music and more fun. The Beatles are my permenant idols. I can't begin to glorify them enough.
I love being an introvert, reading, watching films and listening to music. Social inhibitions make me painfully shy around new people. I am sincerely sorry if you have met me before and you thought i was quiet or boring or rude, i really wanted to speak to you, you were probably very interesting and insightful but i can't form the words to make more superficial conversation.
Before I go, please remember to try and read some poetry if you have not done so, it is the most life changing experience. It holds to key to unlocking me from my introverted world. Thank you for reading.
